Madison Bistro

The Madison Bistro offers fine French cuisine in a romantic and elegant setting. Owner and Maître Cuisinier de France, Claude Godard, the third generation of chefs, maintains a tradition of Bourguignon style cooking inspired by classic recipes served with a modern twist.

The magazine interviews three grandes dames or “becs fins” of New York’s culinary world: Ariane Daguin, owner of D’Artagnan, the food writer and author Joanna Pruess, and Rita Jammet, the former proprietor of La Caravelle Restaurant.

It also talks about Burgundy wines and the Madison Bistro’s Murray Hill neighborhood and offers some of Chef Godard’s favorite recipes.
