Shanghai Tang

Shanghai Tang - CNY window 2015Agura is pleased to welcome back our returning client from 2014, Shanghai Tang. This is our third project for the international retailer.

In mid-January 2015, we created and installed new displays in ten stores, including several in China, Hong Kong, London, Macau and Singapore. The bold look featured a printed vinyl background, red carpet, window stickers, and “pouffes” or footstools of chromed resin.

Shanghai Tang is an international clothing chain company, founded in 1994 by Hong Kong businessman David Tang. In 1998, Richemont acquired Tang's controlling stake. 

Founder Tang once stated that Shanghai Tang is a Chinese label that set out to rejuvenate Chinese fashion of the 1920s and 1930s. The fundamental design concept is inspired by 1920s Cheongsam combined with the modernity of the 21st century. The brand is also noted for its use of bright colors.

Chinese-New-Year-GoatPeople born in the Year of the Goat are generally gentle, shy and sympathetic. Goats prefer to spend time in groups, but don’t crave the limelight. Rather, they are reserved, possibly because they prefer thought to action.

Goats believe in justice. In addition, they are creative, perseverant and stable, making them excellent professionals. Although mild on the surface, they have both inner resilience and superior defensive instincts.

Goats like to spend on fashion, but aren’t condescending; they believe that kindness is paramount, as do we at Agura.

In order to observe the holiday on February 19th, Agura’s headquarters and factories will be closed for the week (February 16-20). All local offices and representatives will be available.
