Jérôme Lohez 9/11 Scholarship Program Video

September 11, 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of that tragic day in 2001 when the Twin Towers fell. Out of their ruin, and in loving memory of one of that day’s victims, Jérôme Robert Lohez, the idea of creating a scholarship program was born.

Its goal is to encourage young people to travel, to study and to live in countries different from their own. When individuals look beyond their familiar surroundings, when they live and travel in foreign lands, they discover that many strangers share their emotions and interests. No life can be considered to be fully lived if it has not benefited from all the encounters of which it is capable.

The video shares some reflections on the activities of the program from its founder, board members and recent graduates.
