The American Friends of Blérancourt hosted its Annual Gala Dinner, honoring Ambassador Craig R. Stapleton, former U.S. Ambassador to France, who received the Franco-American Award of Blérancourt for his contribution to maintaining French-American relations. “Blérancourt” refers to the Franco-American Museum housed in the Blérancourt château in Picardy, which was founded by Anne Morgan, daughter of the prominent financier, J. P. Morgan, following World War I. Daniel Boulud prepared the dinner.

As part of the gala weekend, members attended a reception at the Dumonteil Gallery to view “Splendor on the Riviera” by Camille Roche, the décor of an English aristocrat’s dining room from his villa on the Côte d’Azur. They also previewed the spring collection at the Paule Ka Fashion Showroom & Boutique.

Alouette was privileged to take photos of all three events for use in press releases, society pages and other promotional material.
