In a survey of online baby boomer trends, 93% of age 40-plus consumers say they have read an article about a product or service’s website in print and have later gone online to visit the site to gather more information. Boomers, some 40% of the US population, account for 78 million people and control more than 83% of consumer spending, whose market growth in the next 15 years is projected at 50%.
According to an article in Crain’s New York Business, print is making a comeback. Global sales of luxury goods rose by double digits in the past two years. What better place to showcase exclusive products and services than a glossy print brochure or custom magazine?
